Standard Check-In time is 4:00 pm. Five days prior to your scheduled arrival, you will receive an email with a Rental Agreement to be completed and signed electronically. Please complete for our Touch-Free Check-In.
Check-Out time is 11:00 am. For our Touch-Free Check-Out, please return cabin keys to the Drop Box located by the south office door.
We are a small resort; therefore, cancellations affect us significantly. We have several Cancellation Policies, please review carefully. If you have questions, call us at 509.996.8000. Cancellations made after the requested time frame or in case of a No Show, the card on file will be charged for the entire reservation.
- Standard Cancellation Policy is 72 Hours prior to the confirmed arrival date.
- Extended Stays of 7 Nights plus, have a 14-Day Cancellation requirement prior to the confirmed arrival date.
- Multiple Cabins Reserved up to 5 Cabins, have a 30-Day Cancellation requirement prior to the confirmed arrival date.
- Multiple Cabins Reserved for 6 Cabins plus, have a 60-Day Cancellation requirement prior to the confirmed arrival date.
- All Major Holidays, Winthrop Special Events & Methow Trail Events all have a 30-Day Cancellation Requirement.
Booking Agencies (Booking.com, Expedia, Trip Advisor)
If you booked through a Booking Agency and not direct with River’s Edge Resort, you will need to contact that agency to make changes or to cancel your reservation.
Both US2 (Steven’s Pass) and I90 (Snoqualmie Pass) are well maintained by WSDOT; however, Passes Can close at anytime. The resort does not waive the Cancellation Policies for Winter Weather driving unless; All Passes are Closed for 3 hours or more. Annually, North Cascade Highway (US20) generally closes mid-November through March. For best routes, road conditions and Pass Reports check WSDOT website.
All Cabins are quoted for single/double occupancy. Additional person fees apply to all persons 3 years of age and older, under 3 are Free. Rates are subject to 8.3% Sales Tax & 3% Occupancy Tax.
- Guarantee Fee: We guarantee cabin type, not placement. For example, if you reserve a Three-Bedroom Riverside Cabin, we guarantee you will be reserved in a Three-Bedroom Riverside Cabin, but not a specific cabin number. If you would like a specific cabin number, we will guarantee that cabin for an additional placement fee of $40 per cabin. Charged at time of booking. Nonrefundable.
- Credit Card Policy: A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. Between 24 & 72 Hours prior to the confirmed arrival date, the credit card on file, will be charged for the entire reservation. Cabin occupancy is limited to the number of guests reserved for, notify the resort office if you need to make any changes. If you would like to use more than one card, you will need to contact us at 509-996-8000. Discovery of additional people in a cabin will result in additional person fees and applied to the credit card on file.
- Minimum Stays: A two night minimum is required on weekends during peaks seasons and three night minimum on all major holidays and Winthrop Special Event Weekends. If availability allows for a one night stay, we may make an exception to the minimum stay policy. Please call us 509.996.8000.
Our property is 100% non-smoking except in the designated areas where tobacco smoking is permitted only. Smoking is not allowed inside cabins, deck or front porches of the cabins. There is a $250 fee charged automatically to the card on file if evidence of smoking is discovered.
Candles, incense, fireworks, turkey grease fryers and barbecues are not allowed on resort property. There is a $250 fee charged to the card on file if discovery the policy was not respected.
Our property cannot accommodate pets. However, we would be happy to recommend our local kennel service Aspen Kennels. Discovery of pets on resort property will result in an automatic $250 fee charged to the card on file. Please advise any friends visiting you at your cabin of the No Pet Policy to avoid the fee.
Lost & Found
Belongings left behind, we will hold the items for two weeks. After this time, unclaimed items will be donated. We will ship your items to you for $20. Additional fees may apply for larger items to be shipped.
