Check-In
Standard Check-In time is 4:00 pm. Prior to your scheduled arrival, you will receive an email with a Rental Agreement to be completed and signed electronically.
Check-Out
Check-Out time is 11:00 am. Please return cabin keys to the Drop Box located by the south office door.
Cancellations, Advance Deposits & Refund Policies
Reservations for one-seven nights: can be cancelled penalty-free with no charge seven days prior to arrival by 4PM. After that time, the entire reservation is charged with no refunds. Reservations for eight or more nights can be cancelled with no charge thirty days prior to arrival by 4PM. After that time, the entire reservation is charged with no refunds. Multiple cabin bookings, holidays, Methow Trail Events, Hockey Tournaments and Winthrop special event weekends follow the thirty day cancellation policy.
Advance Deposits: An advance deposit, equal to one night’s lodging fees is required for reservations booked for eight or more nights, booking multiple cabins, holidays, Methow Trail events, Hockey Tournaments and Winthrop special event weekends. Thirty days prior to the arrival date, the balance of the reservation is processed with no refunds. The purpose of the deposit is to guarantee the reservation. Deposits are required for reservations booked directly through the resort, by telephone, online or by Third-Parties.
Guest Count: Riverside Cabins, along the Chewuch River have a discounted nightly rate if full occupancy is not met. The registered guest is to provide the correct guest count. Prior to the cancellation period, the registered guest is responsible to update any changes with the guest count. There are no refunds for less guests at arrival or if part of the guests depart earlier than the scheduled departure date. Early departures are not refundable.
Third Party Reservations: Reservations booked through Booking.com automatically have a fourteen day cancellation policy. Booking.com collects payment at the time of the booking. If a reservation is cancelled, modified or is a No Show, the fee will be the total price of the reservation. However, the reservation can be rescheduled up to fourteen days prior to the cancellation period. Booking.com receives 15% of each booking, booked through them. Booking directly with the resort is always appreciated and will resort match rates.
Groups: Contact the resort office for deposit and cancellation information. A group is defined as reservations booked for the same time frame and for a like stay. For example, weddings, family reunions, friends weekends, ski clubs, car clubs, etc. Although, within the group, reservations might be booked under different names, the reservation is considered a group reservation.
Fire Season
Wildfire is part of the ecosystem of the Methow Valley. Fire Season is typically mid-July through early October. Smokey air and the potential for road closures can be expected. Booking a reservation during the fire season comes with risk. River’s Edge Resort will follow normal cancellation policy unless an extreme situation arises. In these circumstances, you may book your reservation within 6 months.
Winter Travel
Both US2 (Steven’s Pass) and I90 (Snoqualmie Pass) are well maintained by WSDOT; however, Passes Can close at anytime. The resort does not waive the Cancellation Policies for Winter Weather driving unless; All Passes are Closed for 8 hours or more. Annually, North Cascade Highway (US20) generally closes mid-November through March. For best routes, road conditions and Pass Reports check WSDOT website.
Rates
All Cabins are quoted for single/double occupancy. Additional person fees apply to all persons 3 years of age and older, under 3 are Free. Rates are subject to 8.5% Sales Tax & 3% Occupancy Tax.
- Guarantee Cabin Fee: We guarantee cabin type, not placement. For example, if you reserve a Three-Bedroom Riverside Cabin, we guarantee you will be reserved in a Three-Bedroom Riverside Cabin, but not a specific cabin number. If you would like a specific cabin number, we will guarantee that cabin for an additional placement fee of $50 per cabin. Charged at time of booking. Nonrefundable.
- Credit Card Policy: A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. The credit card on file will be charged according the the Cancellation and Advance Deposit Policies. If you would like to use more than one card, you will need to contact us at 509-996-8000.
- Minimum Stays: A two night minimum is required on weekends during peak seasons and three night minimum on all major holidays and Winthrop Special Event Weekends. If availability allows for a one night stay, we may make an exception to the minimum stay policy. Please call us 509.996.8000.
Smoking
Our property is 100% non-smoking except in the designated areas where tobacco smoking is permitted only. Smoking is not allowed inside cabins, deck or front porches of the cabins. There is a $250 fee charged automatically to the card on file if evidence of smoking is discovered.
Open Flames
Candles, incense, fireworks, turkey grease fryers and barbecues are not allowed on resort property. There is a $250 fee charged to the card on file if discovery the policy was not respected.
Pet Policy
Our property cannot accommodate pets. However, we would be happy to recommend our local kennel service Aspen Kennels. Discovery of pets on resort property will result in an automatic $250 fee charged to the card on file. Please advise any friends visiting you at your cabin of the No Pet Policy to avoid the fee.
Lost & Found
Belongings left behind, we will hold the items for two weeks. After this time, unclaimed items will be donated. We will ship your items to you for $20. Additional fees may apply for larger items to be shipped.
